6.5mm SS Bower Encore and 6mm PPC

On the top is my benchrest 6.5mm SS Bower Encore barrel with a Leupold 36X scope. I modify a 444 marlin case to make this round. 444 Marlin is basically a lengthened 44 Magnum round.  44 cal= .429  and I neck the case down to 6.5mm/.264,, Amazing long distance accuracy at 500 yards plus. The one on the bottom is my benchrest 6mm PPC- Palmisano & Pindel Cartridge. Extreme accuracy out to about 300 yards.

A photo of my 416 Rigby Loads

These are some of my custom made 416 Rigby loads. Speer 350 grain Mag Tip with 100 grains Hodgdon- 4350. Hornady 400 grain Round Nose with 93 grains Accurate Arms 3100. Barnes 300 grain XFB with 105.5 grains Hodgdon- 4350. All of these loads produce over 5000 foot pounds of muzzle energy using a 26” barrel. As you can see, the 416 Rigby is a very large cartridge.
